WHAT IS THE ACADEMY OF CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES?

This site is a public exhibition of the aesthetic revolutionaries from the Academy of Creative Technologies. We are a California Partnership Academy based out of Canyon Springs High School in the Moreno Valley Unified School District in Moreno Valley, California.

We follow the academy model which is a three-year program, grades 10-12, structured as a school-within-a-school. Academies incorporate integrated academic and career technical education, business partnerships, mentoring, and internships. Our career focus is in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment Industry Sector (Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Web Design, and Film and Video).

The California Partnership Academies represent a high school reform movement that is focused on smaller learning communities with a career theme. Academy components include rigorous academics and career technical education, with a career focus, a committed team of teachers, and active business and post-secondary partnerships. Extensive evaluations on the academies indicate a positive impact on school performance.
